Accounts and Workspaces
Registration
You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us at [email protected] immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access.
Workspace ownership
Each Truko subscription is associated with one workspace. The person who creates the workspace is the workspace owner and is the only person who can transfer ownership or delete the workspace.
Team members
Workspace owners may invite additional team members, subject to the limits of their subscription plan. Each team member accepts these Terms upon joining. The workspace owner is responsible for ensuring all team members comply with these Terms.
Minimum age
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Subscription and Payment
Free trial
New workspaces receive a 14-day free trial with full feature access. No credit card is required. At the end of the trial, access is restricted until a paid plan is activated.
Paid plans
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in Nigerian Naira (₦) via Paystack. By subscribing, you authorise Paystack to charge your card on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel. Current pricing is displayed at truko.io/#pricing and in your workspace billing settings. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
Payment failure
If a payment fails, we will attempt to retry the charge. If payment is not received within 7 days of the due date, access to the Service may be restricted. We will notify you by email before any restriction takes effect.
Refunds
Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by Nigerian consumer protection law. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact [email protected] within 14 days of the charge.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your workspace billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain full access until then. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable Nigerian law or regulation, including the NDPA, NITDA Act, or the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.) Act 2015

Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without notice or refund.
Data Ownership
Your data belongs to you. All client data, interaction records, invoices, and contracts you create within your Truko workspace remain your property.
You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service. This licence terminates when your account is deleted and your data is permanently erased.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights and permissions to store your clients' personal data in Truko, in compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
Intellectual Property
The Truko platform, including its design, code, trademarks, logos, and content created by Stata Insight Technologies Limited, is the exclusive property of Stata Insight Limited and is protected by Nigerian and international intellectual property law.
Nothing in these Terms grants you a licence to use the Truko name, logo, or trademarks in any way that could imply endorsement or affiliation without our prior written consent.

We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may take the Service offline for maintenance, upgrades, or security reasons. Where possible, we will provide advance notice of planned downtime.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.
Termination
By you
You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting your workspace from the settings page. Upon deletion, your workspace data is permanently erased immediately. See our Privacy Policy for details.

- We are required to do so by law or regulatory order
- We reasonably believe your use of the Service poses a security risk to us or other users
Where possible, we will give you 14 days' notice before terminating for non-payment or Terms violations, giving you time to export your data.
